Friday - Saturday, June 28 - 29  - Forked River, Ocean County Lacey Historical Society’s Flea Market Lacey Historical Society’s Flea Market returns on Friday Saturday.  Sales open both days at 8:00 am and continue to 3:00 pm. You never know what you’ll find at the flea market! The event takes place in front of the Lacey Old Schoolhouse Museum, 126 South Main Street, Forked River, NJ, right next door to Mrs. Walker’s Ice Cream Parlor. Personal guided tours of the Schoolhouse will be conducted 10:00 am through 12:00 noon. Saturday, June 22  - Princeton, Mercer County Vintage Base Ball in Princeton Calling all baseball-lovers and history-buffs: the Historical Society of Princeton will present its annual 19th century "base ball" game on Saturday starting at 11:00 am at Greenway Meadows Park, 275 Rosedale Road, Princeton, NJ. The event is free and open to all; spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Part game, part show, part history lesson and ALL fun, the Flemington Neshanock and Diamond State Base Ball Club will play a competitive match of bare-handed baseball, wearing period uniforms and using rules from 1864 or 1873. Please join us as we celebrate the blueberry in a family (and dog!) friendly, country fair atmosphere. As always, blueberries will be the star of the show. Saturday, June 15  -  Hammonton, Burlington County Civil War Encampment  at Batsto! Children Friendly Site & Event The Batsto Citizens Committee, Inc. will host a Civil War encampment at historic Batsto Village featuring the 12th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry (12th NJVI), Company K, on Saturday.  The 12th NJVI will set up their camp near the entrance to historic Batsto Village and be on the site from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Visitors to the site will have the opportunity to walk through the encampment and interact with these dedicated and knowledgeable reenactors whose mission is to preserve the heritage & sacrifices of our veterans who fought and lived through the dramatic times of 1862 to 1865.
