Spring 2018 Historic Preservation Workshops at MARCH Spring 2018 Continuing Education Courses Now that Groundhog Day and the Super Bowl are behind us, spring cannot far behind--even if the groundhog did see his shadow. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Center for the Humanities at Rutgers-Camden will be offering three historic preservation workshops, beginning March 10.  Registration is open now . All workshop attendees will receive a discount on registration for our fall 2018 class, Introduction to Historic Preservation. Whether you are interested in learning about preservation at the local level, how to fix up your old home, or how to preserve and interpret historical landscapes, we have something for you!

While Washington will be present only in spirit (and in the form of a wonderful life-sized mannequin in an exactingly recreated uniform), visitors who tour his last wartime headquarters will learn about his life and times, before, during and after his careers as commander of the Continental Army and first president of the United States. Find out more about this iconic symbol of our country; learn why he is more important than just a means to sell cars on Presidents' Day! After the tour, enjoy cake and punch in Rockingham's kitchen.
