Monmouth County Historical Association is hosting the 117th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 19, at the Two River Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ.

Monmouth County Historical Association is hosting the 117th Annual Meeting on Tuesday, January 19, at the Two River Theater, 21 Bridge Avenue, Red Bank, NJ.
James Foley, president of the Long Branch Historical Museum, will be the guest speaker. Foley will discuss the historical significance of the Church of the Presidents and the need for historic preservation in Monmouth County along with stories and photos of the church, named for the seven Presidents of the United States who worshipped there. Foley will also speak on the renovations and major re-construction which are currently taking place on the historic structure.
The meeting is open to the public at no charge. Doors open at 6:30 pm for the 7:00 pm meeting. The presentation will follow a brief business meeting, along with a wine and cheese reception.
In the event of inclement weather, the meeting will be held on January 26.
Monmouth County Historical Association is a private non-profit organization that has been working to preserve history and provide educational opportunities since its founding in 1898. The Historical Association’s Museum and Library is located at 70 Court Street in Freehold, NJ. Museum hours are: Tuesdays - Saturdays 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Library is open Wednesdays through Saturdays. The Historic House museums are open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from May 1 through September 30, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
