Saturday, February 20 -  Wall Township, Monmouth County Sherlock Holmes and the Speckled Band See Sherlock Holmes and the Speckled Band Performed by Neill Hartley on Saturday at 6:00 pm (sold out) and 7:30 pm. Neill Hartley is Sherlock Holmes in a thrilling version of the short story by Arthur Conan Doyle. Staged at the Historic Allaire Chapel, see Sherlock Holmes in his study working out the mystery. Then follow him to an old mansion where he must stop a killer from committing another horrible crime! Neill Hartley is professional actor who has performed his one-man shows for hundreds of  groups. He works with many regional theaters and is on the theater faculty of the  University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Tickets are $30 per person. Advance tickets are required. Saturday,  February  13   - Holmdel, Monmouth County Cutting, Splitting and Hewing Adult Event Wood heated the farmer three times - once when they gathered the wood, once when the split the wood, and final time when they burned the wood. On Saturday, visit Historic Longstreet Farm in Holmdel and get warmed up using a two-man saw and splitting wedge; learn how farmers used a froe to rive shingles or a broad ax to hew beams.  This free events run from 12:00 noon - 2:30 pm.
